I was lucky enough to get 4 of these colorful Velcro Memo Boards to check out for myself! They are very cool! My girls loved them! I put one if my 2 youngest daughters’ room. My 5 year old immediately hung up the picture she drew on her very first day of school.
I hung another one downstairs by our computer to put up passwords and such that my kids can never remember.
Then I hung another one in the garage by the door so that my oldest daughter would see it when she gets home. I can leave notes on it for her in case I’m not there when she gets home! Perfect!

Jamberry Nails–{Review & Giveaway}
Jamberry Nails are awesome nail shields that come in the latest colors and fashions! They are fairly easy to apply and are supposed to last 2-4 weeks on your finger nails and about 6 weeks on your toes! I know that my nail polish never lasts that long!!! Does yours?
I picked out this awesome Pinwheel design to try out. Then I actually ended up trying them out on my 14 year old daughter for 2 reasons... 1. She fell in love with them and begged me! 2. I was getting ready to go to a wedding and they didn't quite match the dress I was going to be wearing! haha

I put them on her myself. I honestly didn’t think it was the easiest process in the world, but I could see how it could get easier with practice. Now keep in mind, this is from someone who NEVER does anything to her nails besides put a coat of polish on them now and then. I’m horrible about taking care of my nails.
But, the good thing is, this is an awesome solution for someone like me. They look awesome and last for a while so I don’t have to think about doing them again for at least a couple of weeks.
My daughter kept hers on a week and a half. She only took them off because she had messed one up somehow and started peeling it off, so she peeled off the rest too. I do think that they would stay on much better if you use nail glue on the tips like they suggest for longer wear. They even have a video you can watch so you know exactly how to apply them HERE.
Anyway, she got tons of compliments on her nails and everyone wanted to know how she did them.

Wordless Wednesday–Fun with Mirrors! {Linky}

Do you let your kids do this??? {Vent Post}
I just had to vent tonight....ugh...
First, let me start by saying that my girls are no angels...they have been known to misbehave in public quite a few times, BUT not by my choice and I definitely don't LET THEM!
So earlier this evening I had to run out to the store, Play it Again Sports, to buy my kids some new (or used) soccer shoes for their soccer practices tonight. My 2 daughters and I walk back towards where the new and used soccer shoes are and I couldn't believe my eyes! The area is destroyed! Shoes everywhere! Other soccer equipment is thrown about and the long metal pegs that they hang stuff on just lying around, not to mention, crushed up crackers and cheez its! Oh my goodness...then I saw the source of the mess....a 2 year old boy!
He had one of the long metal pegs in his hand and was swinging it around at stuff like it was a baseball bat! As my daughters and I try to walk towards the shoes, he would stand in our way and just keep swinging the peg! His mom was RIGHT there with her other, I would say 6 year old, son having him try on soccer shoes. She never said a word...she even looked our way. I said, excuse me, to the little boy and finally got around him.
I grabbed some shoes for my girls and we sat down on the floor to try them on (the mom and other boy were taking up the entire bench). I had sat my purse on the floor and the 2 year old terror came over and stepped on it! UGH!!! Seriously? I moved it off the floor and shot the mom a look...didn't phase her.
Next the boy grabs tennis balls from somewhere in the store and starts throwing them at us!!!! Not even kidding! I let the first one go by...the second one, I caught....I looked up at the little boy and said, "Stop throwing balls at us, right now!!!" His mom just looked over at me and smiled and said, "I'm so sorry." However, she never said ANYTHING to the boy...just kept paying attention to her other son and trying shoes on him.
I'm getting pretty frustrated at this point. I was in a hurry and I had 2 pairs of shoes to find and my daughters could barely concentrate since things were being thrown at them. I say to my daughter, "Hurry up! Mommy wants to get out of this store!" The other little boy, the one trying on the shoes, says to me, "You've only been here for 6 minutes." I ignore him...
Again, the little boy throws a ball right at me...I look up and shoot the Mom the look of death...I mean, come on now, control your kid!!! This is a little ridiculous! Needless to say, I was a little irritated when I left the store.
Now tell me, does this stuff ever happen to you? And do you let your kids act this way in public? Am I the one being ridiculous here? My husband thinks that trouble finds me and this stuff happens to no one else....please prove me wrong! Share your stories if you have any!!! Please!!!

MathBlaster–{Review & Giveaway}
My girls LOVE playing on the computer! I think that is common though, these days, isn’t it? I really don’t mind them being on the computer sometimes, as long as they are doing something educational. The bad thing is, sometimes the educational games don’t hold their attention like they should and they get bored and want to play some mindless game instead.
The past few weeks, however, has been a different story! We were given the chance to try out MathBlaster and JumpStart online. Now, the girls are constantly fighting over whose turn it is to play! They love MathBlaster and JumpStart. My 7 and 5 year old play MathBlaster and my 4 year old plays JumpStart. Ever since we got the membership, the girls have played.every.single.day. I’m not even exaggerating!
They all enjoyed creating their online characters and looking around the online worlds. I “interviewed” each of my girls to see what they had to say about the games. Here is what they said:
Cora (almost 8 years old) – She loves helping the world and shooting the lazers. She said it’s the BEST GAME IN THE WORLD! She said that the game was easy to figure out and it makes math fun, better and easier to learn.
Noel (almost 6 years old) – Her favorite part is the Monster Mutts. She said that the game is cool and really fun. She also said it was easy to figure out what to do.
Ashlyn (4 years old) – She played JumpStart and loved creating her girl and loves the swirly slides!
Being Mommy, I also liked that they can play the games on their own! They aren’t constantly yelling for me to come help them. Another great thing is the MathBlaster Blog for parents. You can go there and learn about all the new things going on with the game. It is a great resource for information to pass on to your kids so that they can enjoy the game even more! You can also keep up with MathBlaster on Facebook too! I love that!
I played around a little in the world myself, and my favorite game was B-Force Blaster. You have to shoot at targets to get points! It was pretty fun exploring the world also…although my kids had to tell me where to go and what to do!!! haha

Carmex Lip Balm–{Review & Giveaway}
I love lip balm!!! So I was so excited when Carmex sent me two of their new delicious flavors to try out - Lime Twist & Vanilla! Both flavors have SPF 15, all the moisturizing ingredients of the Carmex lip balm line plus three additional moisturizers that are not found in the original line. These lip balms are also not tested on animals! Yay! :)
When I tried both of these lip balms, the first thing I noticed about them was the tingling sensation you get on your lips. It feels very refreshing! My 14 year old daughter prefers the Lime Twist and I prefer the Vanilla! Both are very tasty flavors! They kept my lips feeling very moisturized! I definitely recommend them!

Over Undies–{Review & Giveaway}
I am so excited to share Over Undies with you today! I had never heard of these until a few weeks ago and when I did, I immediately contacted them to see if I could do a review and/or giveaway of this product! You see, with 3 little girls in my family that LOVE to wear dresses…these were something I HAD to have!
First let me tell you a little about Over Undies.
They were created by parents, like you and I, who saw a need for these in their daughter’s wardrobe! Over Undies features the following:

- A selection of 8 fashionable colors: Basic Black, Chocolate Brown, Bright Fuchsia, Sweet Lavender, Classic Navy Blue, Soft Pink, Lively Turquoise and Clean White.
- A selection of 4 functional and fun trims: Lace, Ruffle and No Trim in all colors, and a Limited Printed Ruffle Trim for the white, turquoise and navy blue colored shorts.

Over Undies was kind enough to send me 3 pairs of Over Undies for each of my girls to try out. That being the case, I ordered 3 different styles. I got the lace trim, the ruffle trim and no trim.
Here are my daughters modeling their Over Undies! They LOVE them and said that they are very comfortable. My youngest daughter actually snuck and wore hers again the next day because she liked them so much! haha
After them wearing them and me washing them, they still look great with one little exception. The lace trim ones did get a little snag in the front on the lace and I had to cut that part off….BUT…I contacted the company to let them know and they were very apologetic and are sending me out a replacement pair! They did say that they had never had that issue before, so hopefully it was just a fluke, but they also said that now that they know, it is something that they can look into and fix!
Overall, I LOVE these and want many more pairs to add to my daughter’s wardrobes! These will be great under their little outfits for school!
