Pyknyk (pronounced as Picnic) was created by two sisters reminiscing over high tea in Manhattan, going over their whirlwind lives as children and then teenagers, traveling all over the world. With parents in the diplomatic services, they were lucky to have lived in several countries and collect many happy memories.

Their recollections gave birth to an idea that would be fun to pursue together. Their love of fashion from different cultures and vivid and colorful memories, gave them the inspiration to create handbags that could be worn anywhere from casual and fun outings to elegant evenings. With this in mind, they decided to dress the new stylish mom.

Each of their bags is named after cities that they lived in - or visited and loved - because they learned, through first hand experience, that every corner on Earth is truly unique and inherently beautiful. Decorating cupcakes, cookies, brownies and cakes was never made so easy until now. Ticings edible icing sheets is my number 1 way to decorate for any special occasion. Whether you're a baker or not, these icing sheets are very easy to use and makes your treats look amazing with a modern design.

Need More Sleep? - Tender Lullaby CD {Review/Giveaway}

I need as much sleep as I can get. Is that even possible with two children under the age of 3? A friend of mine would use the static station on the radio to help her children sleep. I found that would help a little, mainly just to drown out noise from the TV or late night cleaning but my babies would still take over an hour to wind down and go to sleep. I think the static noise made them a little more wired. We also tried using the exhaust fan in the bathroom (their bathroom is fairly close their bedroom) because it made a soft loud humming noise. That seemed to help better then the static noise but we were afraid of burning-up the exhaust fan.

My 3 year old daughter and 17 month old son share a bedroom and there is usually a lot of giggling and laughing that goes on before they fall asleep. Some nights my son will cry himself to sleep and his crying will scare my daughter. It kills me to hear him cry but I know if I pick him up we will just be playing "that" game all night. My daughter will also get out of bed about 5-10 times with different excuses from "I need some water" to "I need my baby duck" or whatever she can think of to get out of bed.

I was super ecstatic when Helene contacted me from BeFit-Mom with her Tender Lullabies: Soothing Classic Piano Melodies CD. She's had tons of great reviews from other moms that said it has worked wonders with their children. So, I was all for giving anything a try.

I played it for the first time during their nap and they actually slept longer then usual with less tossing/turning. I put the CD on repeat and their nap time lasted about 45mins longer. Both of my children loved the first song on the CD. It is the same song I would sing to them every night when they were younger then 1 year while rocking them to sleep. The CD has a very soothing rhythm and the songs are perfect and calming.

On the second nap-time using the CD they fell asleep much quicker and still slept longer then usual about 30mins to 1 hour longer. The second night I played it my husband and I were amazed that we did not hear any giggles or laughing. I waited about 30 mins to check on them and they were both awake but listening to the CD. My son was laying on his back looking at the ceiling and my daughter was on her side cuddling with her blanket but neither one of them were making any noise. This is very strange because this has never happened before. My husband said that he could fall asleep to the CD as well. There is a warning message on the CD that says "Due to the lulling nature of this music, do not listen to this CD while driving." We definitely believe that.

Nap after nap and night after night our babies slept longer and started falling asleep sooner. I wish I had this CD from day 1 with my daughter!
