A good friend of mine Lisa, who I met through my StrollerFit group about 2 years ago, recently told me about this coffee called "Organo Gold" that she sells. It's made from Ganoderma which is a known as the "King of Antioxidants" for its excellence in removing uric acid, lactic acid, excess cholesterol, fat deposits, dead tissue and accumulated chemical toxin from the body. So I decided to give it a try & see if my heartburn would return.
When I drink my coffee I like to drink it black, no cream or sugar for me! I adopted that from my parents who also drink coffee black & drink coffee like water. Lisa has an "Organo Gold Gourmet Black Coffee". They come in packets of 30. Each packet makes about 2 cups of instant coffee. This coffee is Black, Black, Black (meaning very strong) & very good to me. You can get 3 or 4 cups out of 1 packet if you don't like your coffee to strong. You could also use half the packet & save the other half for the next day. It was very soft & smooth to me. To my surprise my heartburn did not return. This is very exciting to me because if you have ever experienced heartburn you know that it is very unpleasant.
I also tried the "Organo Gold Gourmet Mocha". I am not a big sweet eater but when I am craving sweets I usually go to a coffee house & get a Mocha. I try to make my own Mocha with coffee and chocolate but I never get the combination right. The Organo Gold Gourmet Mocha will definitely settle those sweet cravings for me. It's not to sweet but just right. The other great thing is I don't have to waste time or gas going to a Coffee House & I can't feel to guilty since it's good for me. There are 15 packets to one box & also make about 2 cups per packet.
